My topic is abortion.Japanese government should change the law and crimes of abortion more severe and the support for pregnancy and child raising .
There are four main points. First, the unborn babies who will be aborted ,each of them, are life and human beings, so they have the right to live. Second, pregnancy and childbirth sometime suffer mothers, pregnant women, physically, mentally, or economically and they have the right to live too.Third, pregnancy cannot happen without fathers but sometimes --maybe often-- they are not responsible for the pregnancy and the irresponsibility for pregnancy can cause abortion. Fourth, now, in Japan, society, people, tend to be cold for fatherless, motherless or no parents children and unmarried mothers.
I choose this topic, I have written in Assignment 1, because I think that we are alive by eating other lives and can't avoid it, so we must not forget to thank those lives. If a person decide kill other life not to eat although they have some ways which don't have to kill the life, it is just murder. It is sin for the life they killed not to eat and even to eat.

ReplyDeleteThis is your teacher, Chris Hoskins. I'd like to offer some suggestions for focusing your thesis. Your 1st and 3rd reasons make sense to me, but I can't yet understand the 2nd and 4th reasons. Here's an example of your thesis statement that contains the 1st and 3rd reasons.
Thesis Statement: The Japanese government should make the laws prohibiting abortion more severe in order to support pregnancy and child raising because unborn babies have the right to live, and fathers who avoid responsibility for the pregnancy should be made to take responsibility.
If you can explain the 2nd and 4th reasons to me more clearly, I can hope you incorporate one of them into your thesis.
